TOYPOCALYPSE Four Horsemen Retrospective Private Party Recap ★ Toy Tokyo, DC Universe Classics, Masters of the Universe Classics, Mattel Action Figures, Mazma Corps, Gothitropolis, The Outer Space Men

I went to TOYPOCALYPSE Four Horsemen Retrospective Private Party at Toy Tokyo New York on February 13, 2011. Well, Actually I still don't know so much about Four Horsemen which is the sculpting studio which has been creating numerous prototypes about Mattel action figures series and some of McFarlane Toys items... However I realized at least one thing at the party. I realized that their uncompromising creativity and the amazing quality were astonishingly awesome !!! 

It was a private party, as of say VIP attended.

First, I was super excited these DC Universe Classics archives. From Wave 1 to latest Wave 16 plus Matty Collector.com exclusive items, everything was exhibited on a wall !!! Oh dear,  I am a crazy collector of this series. 

Everything was originally sculpted by Four Hoursemen, that's so amazing isn't it ?! 

Two prototypes sculpted by Four Horsemen were displayed. Batman and Hawkman. They're product sample, therefore even below photos look regular size, but actually they're 10 Inch size.

Then Hawkman...

Very sensitive molding, look at each feathers and blood vessels on arms.

Second, Masters of the Universe Classics !!! The series are also my favorite, I owe some, and I want to owe more, however like you know very hard to collect...

Like above DC Universe, everything was exhibited from the series !!!

Then, there're prototypes of 2002's action figure series. MOTU fans may either like this series or not like it more than current retro featured classics series. Well, I kinda like this series' unique interpretation too.

He he he... Heeeee Maan !!!

 

Not only licensed figures, bot also there're Four Horsemen original released figures too. Gothitrofolis is one of 'em. 

Again, they're prototypes. In fact they're 10 Inch each. 

And Egyptian gods inspired series' 10 Inch prototypes. Amazing sculpting and coloring techniques each.

They're regular 6 inch size blister pack series. Black and white sneak peak edition was released at the show and priced $50 each.

Articulation composition and some production materials, veeeeeeeery interesting !!! 

Next is The Outer Space Men series !!! I was able to see some new items !!!

Finally MAZMA Corps !!!

Phew ! A lot of exhibited materials there, like I took more than 100 pictures you know !!!
